The Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES) in collaboration with Takeda’s Global Pathogen Safety and the Austrian Society for Hygiene, Microbiology and Preventive Medicine) take the privilege to invite you to the Christmas Lecture 2021 of the Austrian Chapter of the American Society for Microbiology.

 

"Vaccination against COVID-19"

This presentation will discuss immune responses induced by SARS-CoV-2 infection and vaccination as well as their protective effect. Furthermore, it will focus on longevity of the induced immune responses, protection against variants (including B.1.617.2) and the effect of booster doses. Finally, it will provide insights into the mechanism and correlates of protection.
